On Monday 20th of June, the launch of JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) High School Students Invitation Programme 2011 was held at the JICC in Melbourne. This program is sponsored by the Japanese Government and AFS Australia assists its implementation.
Mr Yasufumi Kotake, Acting Consul-General of Japan delivered a speech inviting as many students as possible to apply to the programme and promoting Japan’s attributes with special focus on its unique culture and tourism resources.
