JR Duty Free VIP night

James Richardson was the pioneer of Duty Free retailing in Australia, and has been housing some of the finest luxury brands in the world. Among those brands, Longines watch, Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein fragrances having been working closely with JR/Duty Free for quite a long time.

On 22nd March, a VIP night sponsored by Longines, Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein was held in JR/Duty Free.

During the event, Longines showcased its new Longines DolceVita collection.

Also a lucky draw was held with the prize of six bottles of Marc Jacobs fragrance and a $3000 Longines ladies watch from the new collection.

Longines Media and Communications Officer reviewed Longines' long history with JR/Duty Free and a breif history of Longines itself. Established in 1832, Longines is having its 180 year anniversary this year.

The current logo of Longines was first designed in 1867, showing an hourglass with wings. The meaning of this logo represents the meaning of "time flies". After several twitches through all these years, this symbol still represents the highest quality in watch making.
