There’s a new menu item on Wellington Street’s Wabi Sabi Garden! It’s tonkotsu ramen ($15)!
But there’s a catch! Only 20 bowls will be sold every Wednesday lunch time!
Being sold out every Wednesday, Wabi Sabi Garden’s new tonkotsu ramen is proving to be a big hit. It must be because their ramen does not contain any MSG (monosodium glutamate) and food additives. Instead, they rely on the long stewing time to fully bring out the flavours from the bones into the broth.
Unlike regular overly rich tonkotsu broths, Wabi Sabi Garden’s is light and refreshing. For those who enjoy a lighter taste, this broth may be the one for you.
There’s a good chance that their tonkotsu ramen will become part of their regular menu. If you try and love it, be sure to ask before you head out to dinner.
If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s highly recommended that you try it on your next Wednesday lunch break!
Wabi Sabi Garden continues to experiment on different flavours like sesame oil and green onion oil every day, so expect a variety of flavours sometime in the future!
Try eating ramen outdoors! It'll be a whole new experience in Wabi Sabi's Zen garden!
